Justification of oil recovery factors of Darvin Kupesy field
G.K. IsmayilovaThe development of Darvin Kupesy oil field was started in 1950. Oil bearing squares were defined in south, central, north and north-east areas of the field. Brief summary of these zones development is provided. Considering current development stage and aiming to clarify geological structure of the field, it became necessary to carry out research works on oil reserves recalculation in place. On the basis of up-to-date calculations by field horizons, the initial recoverable reserves and ultimate oil recovery factor were defined. Here exponential and Kopitova models were used. On the basis of actual field data, the curves of annual oil withdrawal from time were built. Based on their analysis, areas of curves, characterizing the development process and oil production was calculated for forecast period by different models.
