The influence of some nitrogen containing alkylphenol additives on motor oils quality

MamedyarovaThe article presents the results of synthesis and research of some nitrogen containing alkylphenol additives consisting of calcium salt of condensation product of dodecylphenol by formaldehyde and various amines (ethylenediamine, diethylenetriamine or tetraethylenepentamine). The influence of nitrogen atom amount on functional properties of additives was studied. It was defined that the most efficient of them is AKI-3 additive calcium salt of dodecylphenol product condensation with formaldehyde and tetraethylenepentamine. High exploitation properties of AKI-3 additive allowed using it in the composition of M-12VB motor oil with positive results.
