Characteristics of oil-gas fields’ reserves distribution and geological risks (in case of Gunashly field)

Gunashly is one of the largest fields in Azerbaijan according to its reserves. Despite the terms of development and high rates of oil recovery, the field has still significant residual reserves. In connection with noted, a geological-field survey has been conducted for clarification and distribution of reserves in the deposit square. The oil reserves have been clarified via various geological-mathematical methods and the maps of differentiation of initial and residual reserves by deposit squares developed. The geological risks during surveys on reserves calculation have been justified.
