Some simplifications of hydrodynamical calculations for recovery definition by displacement characteristics method

Recovery factor definition is importance for commercial reserves calculation of oil and gas fields. It is known that usually recovery factor is defined by core samples. In this abstract are shown produced results of simplification existent methods of recovery factor determination by oil displacement characteristics. Existent methods are not considered optimal due to lack of necessary information about pay factors and calculation difficulties. Carried our research works showed that to define recovery factor by displacement characteristics method is as simply as practically. Thus, we offer to determine actual displacement characteristics curve and by its straight line part to define “a” and “b” constants.
