Paleotectonical and paleogeographical basis of oil and gas bearing prospects of Mesozoic deposits of the Precaspian-Gubian oil and gas bearing region
A.M.SuleymanovArticle is devoted to an estimation of prospects of oil and gas bearing of Mesozoic deposits of the Precaspian-Gubian oil and gas bearing region. On the basis of the performed analysis of paleotectonical and paleogeographical conditions of accumulation of Mesozoic deposits, restored the history of geotectonic development of sedimentation basin, zones of generation and the direction of migration HC were determined. As is known, in the beginning of Jurassic period between North and South Caucasian micro plates was created wide sedimentation basin. In early and middle Jurassic epoch on northern slope of this basin, in shallow sea basin conditions, accumulated light grey colored clays and sands, in the central part of basin dark grey and black color bituminous clays. At the end of Bayous stage as a result of approaching of micro plates occurred folding and break in deposition process. The break in deposition and washout of middle Jurassic deposits continued in Yalama-Xudat zone, up to the beginning of late Barrem, on Gusar-Talabi uprising prior to the beginning of Sarmatian, but on Khachmaz-Agzibirchala prior to the beginning of Pontian stage. Representation of Neocomian deposits in Sudurian zone and on northern wing of Tengi-Beshbarmag anticlinorium carbonate-terrigen deposits of big thickness, gives the basis to assume, that within the limits of Alich-Zeyva and Divichi through they will be presented by more powerful carbonate-terrigen deposits and can be the main sources of generation of hydrocarbons. Favorable conditions for formation and preservation of oil and gas pools are tectonically and lithologically silled traps, existed in Siazan monocline zone, in wing parts of Talabi-Gaynardja anticline zone and on SE wing of Khachmaz-Agzibirchala uprising. In Khizi tectonic zone in the end of Bayous stage occurred folding, a break in deposition and washout the upper part of middle Jurassic deposits.
