About possibility of the non-anticlinal traps discovery and forecasting problems under drilling in OGR interfluves Kura and Gabirry
Sh.Kh.AkhundovOne of the forecasting elements of non-anticline traps is the structural surface analysis that erected under seismic research of the abyssal structure of area. The paleotectonic analysis allows to carry out reconstruction of structural surfaces, to find out mechanism and oil and gas reservoir forming conditions. The detailed seismic survey works conducted on Jahandar area, mark out the dissymmetric nose complicated by longitudinal and cross-section dislocations. Carried out paleostructural constructions via trend-analysis method showed that in the viewed part of OGR on the average surface of Eocene the paleoraise marked out situated between Jahandar and Soyughbulag structures. Made up maps of Paleocene-Eocene beds thickness established direction and areas characterized by raised and decrease thickness. As a result paleotectonic analysis of tectonic phases is determined. And they exerted influence to the charge of structural plans, hesitations of bed thicknesses and caused appearance of the local disturbances complicating structure of zone. The carried out analysis of data along up cretaceous and palaeogene beds of OGR north-west zone between Kura and Gabirry enables to suppose about possibility of lithological-stratigrafic trap presence, bounded by tectonic disturbance on the Jahandar area. According to wells data on the Damirtepe-Udabno and Mamedtepe allowed to predict stratigraphic section and possible problems while drilling in the necessary zones.
