The article provides information on the methodology for calculating the strength and stability of a pipeline operating under conditions of high pressures and temperatures, taking into account the working pressure. According to the steel grade, the wall thickness of the selected linear section element was determined based on the initially specified resistances. Also, using modern software, a constructive model of the pipeline was built and its strength resistance from the action of specified loads was calculated. According to the results of the analysis, the suitability or unsuitability of the pipeline can be determined.
