Hydrgeoological characteristics of underground waters of the southwest slope of the Great Caucasus

Salakhov Cand. in Geol.-Min.Sc. - National Service of Geological Survey, Ministry of Ecology and Natural ResourcesSouthwest flank of the Great Caucasus is very difficult on tectonic, geomorphological, stratigraphic, lithological and to other features. Hydrogeological conditions of investigated region are very diverse. Underground waters are formed in separate structure.
Paleogene, Neogene and Quaternary sediments are involved in the geological structure of the study area. There are 5 anticline zones in the Acinohur structure, which includes 31 anticline rises. These anticlines are either independent wrinkles or combined at the axis of the wrinkle. They are
Dashyuz, Kudbarakdag, Acinohur-Khoshavand, Kodjashen-Goychay and Garaja-Garamaryam.
