Diagnostics of multiphase flow zones during transportation of liquid gases
G.G. Ismayilov Dr. in Tech. Sc. - Azerbaijan State University of Oil and IndustryPipeline transport, which is one of the ways to transport liquid gases, unlike oil pipelines, has specific features. First of all, it is necessary to ensure the transition of the liquid phase into steam in the pipeline, otherwise the pressure loss in the pipeline will increase significantly, and safety issues become more relevant. To do this, it is necessary to determine whether there are “dangerous” points on the pipeline route, and the pressure along the length of the pipeline must be greater than the saturated vapor pressure. In many cases, depending on the relief, changes in the operating mode and properties of the transported liquid gases, as a result of the evaporation that occurs during transportation, zones of multiphase flow are formed in the pipeline. The questions of the existence of such zones and the determination of their coordinates are very topical.
In the article, a graphic-analytical method for diagnosing multiphase flow zones and determining their coordinates during the transportation of liquid gases based on the pressure balance has been developed.
