The methods of increasing of PNN log efficiency in layer’s section with difficult formation components
M.K. BaghirovOne of geophysical methods for monitoring of oil-gas field development is PNN log. In the article are shown the basic factors influencing on efficiency of PNN and noticed the dependence of it from mineralization degree of formation waters by chlorides and producing with non-Newtonian oils. The multiple investigations established that under mineralization degree of formation waters by chloride less than 40 g/l the value of average life time of heat neutrons for oil-bearing and water-bearing layers are not different. Therefore, by the results of PNN studies, under low-mineralization of formation waters by chloride the evaluation of character of reservoirs oil-saturation is difficult. With the aim of PNN studies efficiency increasing under conditions of low-mineralized formation waters by chloride were suggested the new technological methods. In addition were considered the questions of determination of reservoirs oil-saturation producing non-Newtonian oils enclosing heavy hydrocarbon components by PNN. For increasing of PNN efficiency under conditions of layers with non-Newtonian oils the new technological scheme were also suggested.
